"The carpet and the furniture might be worn in spots, but it's clean, the service is excellent, the price is right and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. If you don't mind a little wear and tear around the edges, this is a solid choice. I'd be happy to stay again."

"Our stay was wonderful. The owner is absolutely the best. Empire is so cozy, it doesn't feel like other hotels. Its more like someones home. We had a beautiful view of the Ohio river. We hope to go back when its warm out. It has a beautiful porch to relax on. Thank you Marsha."

"The room was clean, linens clean, bed comfortable, tub including jets clean & maintained. All around we was happy with the room and at a great price too. You can tell they’ve been working to make updates and upgrades to all the rooms. The gentleman I talked to to check in was super nice and got things done even with his busy schedule tending to several other guest he got us taken care of and answered our questions. I won’t dog on the place but feel I still should warn about the breakfast set up....
