"The hotel is as close to the beach as it gets. Just a boardwalk away. There are a few rooms with full ocean view, others have just partial, overlooking a bit messy playground and restaurant patio, which might be getting noisy in season. Rooms are well maintained, with only minor issues. There are some quirks with operating heating/cooling and TV, but nothing that would be worth mentioning. "The hotel was clean, quiet and room well equipped. The fireplace in the lobby was a cozy place for reading. The front desk was short staffed when we arrived so we had to wait awhile to check in, and on the day we left one of the staff rudely asked my husband if he was a guest there, implying that he was a "flagrant" (her words) because she saw him "walk in from outside". She was apologetic when he showed her his key. Other than that, the hotel met our basic needs and was comfortable overall. "
