"The hotel is close to Derby Train Station and it’s an easy walk into Derby City Centre as well. Only downside was the lift was out off order and it was my wife staying and she has health problems which made it a bit hard fir her to get to her room but apart from that she said she will use the Hitel again. "It's good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large, not very warm until we ut electric fire on. No heat on towel rail though. Hotel and some furnishings a bit tired. Needs tlc I think"

"I stayed during a quiet time and left early. The hotel was pleasant but could be a touch better looked after. I found broken lights everywhere from lift to bathroom. Some uninsulated electrics in the room (really unacceptable!). But otherwise a pleasant period property, nicely finished, clean, nice staff, good communication. "
