We booked this very last minute due to a change of schedule due to rain & the host’s communication was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved our change of plans. Not only was this property beautiful & full of hummingbirds, but Bajos del Toro was charming & had so much to offer. "

"Beautiful outdoor setting at the top of the hill, with beautiful blue pool and string lights. Great views of the surrounding area and nature. The cottages are clean and well done. Surrounded by nature. Good restaurant. We had pesto pasta with shrimps, and garlic shrimp. Strawberry daiquiri was also great. The bike park and high end bike rentals sound awesome. Being objective these are /-: * Nice property grounds * Rooms are ok size and clean * Comfy mattress * Simple but ok breakfast - * The place needs a restaurant so badly as there is nothing close to the hotel. * The shower stopped working * There is no front desk so you cannot call anyone for help and you have to open the gate yourself, this can be tricky. The staff is friendly but is literally 1 guy. * A lots of maintenance work...
