"We stay for 5 nights and would’ve stayed forever! Beautiful, conveniently located property. Manuel gave a very informative tour of the flora and fauna on the property. By the first full day we had already seen 3 Collard Aracari toucans having a snack together, 1 Keel-billed toucan, a large troop of capuchin causing trouble in the trees less than 100 feet from our bungalow, and the troop of howlers that live on the property. "i hope people use this hotel as it appears to be a mum and her daughter making a go of it - and though quirky it is an ok experience. What is a problem is - its in the middle of nowhere and expedia sent me the wrong name. You told me it was called (unusually )HOTEL IN FRONT OF LAKE ARENAL. And it was 15 miles from LA FORTUNA. After driving 45 minutes a kindly restaurant owner called the lady and gave me directions. I would still be looking now - its called LAKE 2 and even that is poorly signed....
