"It was a great location. Nice pool, nice garden area. Gated and someone around 24/7. Was a hostel with private rooms and bathrooms ahared kitchen. AC worked well. Bar at the pool and they played music from early afternoon to 10 pm every day, which I didn't love, but it was okay. A ton of restaurants nearby!! All good food. We had birds in the trees every morning and every night so that was cool - they were pretty loud lol. "

"The grounds are beautiful and view of the volcano once the clouds cleared was amazing. Great breakfast. Shuttle service in the rain was great. Seemed understaffed however and a few things needed repair."

"The bathroom in the room need renovation since it not functional and extremely old. Also don't expect hot water for your shower between 10AM and 4pm since they shut it down during that time. It also a little bit noisy due that you are on the corner two major roads. So overall if I had to go back to La Fortuna I would choose another hotel."
