"Check in took a while because their credit card reader for room deposit wasn’t working, the bathtub/shower should have been cleaner, half used roll of toilet paper left on dispenser in room instead of being replaced with a new one, room smelt of cigarettes but was a non-smoking room"

"The property looked exactly the same as the pictures. Everything was in perfect working order and the cabin was exceptionally clean. My husband and I like to stay the weekend in a remove cabin for our anniversary. We bring our own food and just enjoy nature and quiet. This cabin was PERFECT. Everything was cozy and comfortable. "It was a perfect place! We wanted to get away for the weekend with friends and we definitely did that! Only knock we had was there weren’t any back up trash bags but we made due and it wasn’t even a hiccup. Thank you so much for being amazing hosts and will recommend to everyone that listens!"

"Beautiful property. Had hoped the porch redo would be completed before our stay, but it's close and will be a comfortable spot on our next visit. All guests came to the breakfast table first morning talking about how well they slept both beds and pillows very comfortable. Having a table that fit all right of us was a dream. Very well stocked. Two crockpots, coffee maker AND Keurig. "

"What a peaceful, tranquil setting on the Shell Rock River. We had a family gathering - 3 brothers and their wives - near where we fished with our Dad and Grandfather 60 to 65 years ago and spent the week sharing positive memories! Thank you for sharing the River House with us."
