"Lovely old character style hotel. Friendly staff in reception let my colleague and I have a few holes of golf before sunset with no charge. Well priced drinks and food. The lady serving in the bar was grumpy but that was the only negative. Would highly recommend "

"Really lovely hotel - very friendly welcome and help with the parking app. Beautiful reception and bar area, with a cosy seating area for enjoying a cuppa or the buy one get one free in happy hour. "Great location and easy parking (discounted rate provided at hotel - simply park up and pay at Reception). Our room was spacious and comfortable with double aspect windows looking out towards the river. Could do with a little TLC (extractor fan not working in the bathroom and toilet flush not great!) but nothing that affected our stay.
