"Great experience. We were in Dublin due to a family funeral. The 'afters' was at the Talbot and we booked bedrooms there as well to make all the transitions easier. Staff were wonderful and empathetic, allowed us to check in early to get ready for the services. Rooms were very comfortable, had everything we needed. "The rooms were large, with both a shower and a bath tub. There were both electric outlets and USB battery-charging outlets in all rooms. There was an electric tea kettle and tea with biscuits available, and a large screen plasma television set. Multiple storage spaces. An ironing board and iron. Doors entrance code was given wrong on the email so we spent more than 20 min outside while someone let us in, because nobody answered the number that was given as an emergency after hours contact. "Location is great. I’ve never been asked for photo ID at check-in before…I found it odd …Room and downstairs were lovely, comfortable. There were insects coming out from under the bath. The carpet in hallway needs an upgrade, there were drips coming from the ceiling. I paid the €5 overnight car park fee and went off on a hike with my kids.
