"A very beautiful and tranquil space. The room was spacious and bed very comfortable. The only issue I had was dining service. The dining room was not busy at all and it took forever for wait staff to bring water, take our order, etc. our evening meal, not in the formal dining area, was completely the opposite. However, it didn’t appear that a particular person was assigned our table. We were continually being asked for drink and food order by numerous staff. The bartenders were great. ...

"The Hotel is beautiful - amazing park and architecture. The room was excellent, with great coffee (Lavazza machine) and very comfortable beds. We ate a late pizza and a lunch in the Orangerie, which was fine but not excellent - for a five star hotel the food there could be a bit better. We visited our daughter at UCD and it was a lovely walk over to campus. Also, the bus connections from the hotel to downtown are great. Overall a very pleasant hotel."

"Location is great. I’ve never been asked for photo ID at check-in before…I found it odd …Room and downstairs were lovely, comfortable. There were insects coming out from under the bath. The carpet in hallway needs an upgrade, there were drips coming from the ceiling. I paid the €5 overnight car park fee and went off on a hike with my kids. Half way round Bray Head I thought of renewing the car park ticket , but nothing I could do. When we got back to hotel at 5pm, car was clamped. €125 had to be...

"Absolutely stunning grounds, fabulous courts, the terrace was beautiful and the food was supurb. Service was fantastic (front desk really went above and beyond), and the beds might have been the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Enjoyed the pool and walking the grounds."
