"Me and my partner stayed for a night, got a good deal on a room with breakfast included however a bit disappointing the room being situated at a point where there was a massive skip outside and ongoing works outside so awoken early with constant banging. Street noise etc was a given as the hotel is in the city centre. The hotel is huge so I’m almost positive there would have been rooms elsewhere and it was a Monday night so not particularly busy. The facilities were nice, Spa was pretty good but...

"Very good stay with no complaints. The breakfast was amazing, free carpark and closed to all amenities. Around just over half an hour walk to the castle of Edinburgh and there's also a bus stop right outside to get us to the centre. The check out should be at 12pm and not 11am... Apart from that, everything else was good and I will stay there again. "

"Some dirty towels in bathroom and pool water not great quality. Was offered take away breakfast as leaving before breakfast started. It contained stale pastries and fizzy water and absolutely rotten apple. But otherwise hotel was nice. Rooms spacious"

"Lovely stay, really comfortable bed. Lovely room and facilities. We went the the W lounge twice in the afternoon it was excellent, however at night the service was very slow. The man serving us was lovely, there just didn’t seem to be enough staff. Took over 20 mins from ordering a drink to being served it and we had to chase it. "

"I liked that it was easy to get train into Edinburgh in 15 minutes. The bar and grill were lovely and relaxing. The food in the grill was first class but very expensive as was the drinks. The room we had didnt have a fridge which was disappointing even chill bottles of water"
