"We had an excellent 6 night stay at the Royal Park. Our room was spacious, quiet and had a Japanese bathroom with separate shower and bath. Staff were helpful and polite. The bakery below the hotel was excellent for snacks and breakfasts. Location is fantastic - at the centre of the action and easy access to transport. Will happily return."

"This hotel was great as it was a few blocks from Kyoto station, however bathroom in our room was very little, I am 1.84 Mts and barely fit in the tiny space, consider this if you are taller. APA is a great hotel chain I recommend to first time Japan travelers as it is easy to find an affordable one in every city."
