Romantic Hotels in Penang

"This hotel is truly 5 stars 🌟 Our suite room was gorgeous and so spacious. We were overlooking the sea in the heritage section of the building. Everything you need for a great stay, even our mini bar items were free ! Also had access to lounge for tea/coffee throughout the day and drinks & snacks between 6 & 7 pm. We had breakfast in Planters as it was quieter than than Sarkies and a beautiful view from the outside. We will definitely stay there again. "

"Lone pine is a nice place to stay for a quiet vacation, some extra pool chairs wouldn’t go astray… the room had a very mouldy smell due to humidity and constant air conditioning and they tried to help with a different room but they were all the same - they could try cleaning the air con filters… breaky was good, staff were nice but limited English… they had lots of meetings and a wedding while we were there which was a slight inconvenience but, when you pay for a boutique hotel you expect a bit...

"The hotel has a 3 bedroom apartment with 3 bathrooms which is a rare find. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has an amazing view of the ocean. Whilst it has a dining table for 6, there is no kitchenette except for a bar fridge & tea/coffee and kettle in the master bedroom. Downside is that it gets quite noisy at night from the beach bar next door. In addition, the breakfast buffet spread isn't great in terms of choice and taste. Also worth noting that the spa has been closed for years."

"Our stay was wonderful. Room was clean and has toiletries and slippers in case you forgot them at home. We did not have a car so parking wasn’t required but I was told that it’s difficult to find parking in Penang. On the hotels.com description it says close to shopping Center which I think is referring to Time square however that mall is closed. There are other shopping areas just a little farther away.
