"Wonderful hotel beautiful room and housekeeping excellent. We were upgraded to a room that allowed drinks and canapés in the Cornwallis lounge. Fantastic location walking distance to the street art and Chew Jetty. Buffet in the evening is excellent value and the breakfast amazing. Staff also wonderful cannot fault this!"

"This property was well laid out and most chalets were set back into the jungle which gave it a very natural look. The property was very walkable though there were also little carts that could take you around. The ocean view chalet had a magnificent view and a beautiful balcony with 2 loungers and 2 chairs. "Absolutely fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach and the lovely pool area. All the staff were lovely & friendly. Our room was on the 5th floor looking over the pool & beach, the views are stunning. Our room was huge, the bathroom had the best bath/shower area I’ve ever seen with views over the bay ! We tried the 3 different restaurants and all were good. All positive except one: there was a cigar smoking room next to the main bar which made the area smell of smoke, so unpleasant we couldn’t use...

"Lone pine is a nice place to stay for a quiet vacation, some extra pool chairs wouldn’t go astray… the room had a very mouldy smell due to humidity and constant air conditioning and they tried to help with a different room but they were all the same - they could try cleaning the air con filters… breaky was good, staff were nice but limited English… they had lots of meetings and a wedding while we were there which was a slight inconvenience but, when you pay for a boutique hotel you expect a bit...
