"I loved this hotel for several reasons. First, the location is excellent for getting around the city as a visitor, tourism, eating, and shopping. For example, it's a very short walk to visit the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art or get on the ferry to visit Robben Island. You can enter the harbor mall directly from the hotel. The room was very comfortable, even if a bit small. The bed and shower were both great. The afriKan bathroom amenities were wonderful to use, and I don't think I'll ever be able to find them anywhere else. Abundant, delicious breakfast with a gorgeous view. To top it all off, the famed South African chef Siba Mtongana of cooking show Siba's Table has a restaurant inside the hotel. We enjoyed a very special dinner there. Great hotel in a great city. We hope we can return someday. "

"Zee and Amin at the front desk was extremely helpful with coordinating family activities. Their knowledge and willingness were greatly appreciated. All of the staff was very welcoming, and I would highly recommend the Hyatt hotel. The area is close to a few restaurants and the Waterfront; great location. The suites were beautiful with a nice view. The variety of foods at breakfast was more than enough, so much variety and it was hot and fresh; made to order. I am definitely staying here again, when I'm back in Cape Town!! Worth every penny."

"I stayed at Southern Sun The Cullinan for 7 nights, 8 days, attending a conference. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Conference Center and is a short, safe walk over. It is also an easy walk to the V&A Waterfront from the hotel. I would take Uber to get to other neighborhoods. The hotel was absolutely lovely. Newly refurbished with comfortable and clean rooms, a lovely bar with friendly staff, where we gathered every night, and a nice spa and beautiful pool. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Ms. Angie at the egg station and Mr. Mike at the piano made every morning extra special. I can't possible give enough compliments about the hotel staff. Every single staff member at the front desk and concierge was friendly, kind and so helpful. They helped connect us with a reliable driver at the last minute when we wanted to go out exploring the peninsula. The only inconsistency I experienced was with housekeeping. My room was always cleaned on time and cleaned well, but every day, something was forgotten. One day face towels were not replenished, another day the water bottles were not replaced, etc. But it wasn't enough to affect my overall experience. I would just call downstairs and ask for what I needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cape Town."
