"The location is so beautiful and right next to the Heron Pond aide station! Jack was so kind and welcoming. The hot tub and sauna were a huge bonus and much needed for my sore legs after the race. I loved reading all of the stories from other people’s stay at the cabin—quite a few repeat visitors! My husband loved the screened in porch with the beautiful view. He spent quite a bit of time reading there while I was recovering before our journey home. We’ll definitely be back again next year!"

"Me and a couple buddies went up to hunt Kentucky and stayed in this home. We really liked it because it was out in the country and nice and quite. Not far from the local stores though so getting groceries and supply's was no problem. Sure the house is old but it was quite comfy. "

"Excellent getaway for quiet nights away from the big city lights. Small town atmosphere but big chalet living here. Very well equipped home and comfortable beds to rest up. Wraparound deck was used daily to enjoy some summer air. Host was very responsive and willing to work with requests. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."
