"Great place to stay and great location"

"The hotel is very old and outdated. The ambiance around seemed a bit unsafe to be out at night there was a lot of homeless just walking across the parking lot. Also as I was walking my dog there was a prostitute posted in the back entrance of the hotel. Obviously for the price you’re not going to get a 5 star hotel but I wouldn’t recommend this for a family stay."

"I absolutely loved my loft! Wonderful views, felt like home. I was house hunting and needed a long term stay with my two cats. The staff were amazing and polite. Very accommodating and friendly! The bar WXYZ, great menu of cocktails and locally brewed beers. However, they didn’t have much of a variety for food when I needed something quick to go to take to my room. Wonderful Amenities! My only complaint is not really related to the hotel. But rather the muscle cars, and loud motorcycles that are apparently allowed to come through during evening hours into the night and rev up their engines racing up and down the main road by the hotel. It’s a shame that Asheville PD (who are literally 2blocks away) would put up with it, as it could potentially ruin their city’s tourism industry and reputation. The historical ambience gets ruined by it. But ALOFT - I give 5 stars! Loved it!"

"Took this trip for my husband’s birthday and had the BEST time. The hotel was so cool! We loved the decor and vibe. We were upgraded to a high floor Mountain View room which was so nice. The staff was so kind and helpful and we really felt relaxed! Will definitely be back! "

"This is a great property! Cleanest place we've stayed in a long time. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. No pressure to valet. No false friendliness to get a tip. The young lady at the coffee bars was so nice. She gave me several suggestions about out visit to the Biltmore and suggested the back stairs tour, which was a great. The night manager, bell man and everyone were exceptional. You get a breakfast basket every morning at your door!"
