Cannaway House B&B
4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (137)
"Stayed 2 nights on our recent visit. B&B is beautiful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with nice variety. The place is a bit remote and accessible via tiny back roads. Watch out that map apps may have to go off the main road many km earlier than necessary. Walk around the property was very pleasant. Would recommend."

The Brown Hen West Cork
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (24)
"A wonderful place with brilliant views, surrounded by ample countryside. Gwyneth was the best host one could ask for, very friendly and helpful throughout my stay and indeed for both settling in and heading out. The place was lovely to stay in, featuring every utility you could desire, and felt very welcoming and comfortable as almost a home away from home. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer! For any undecided, The Brown Hen is definitely worth a stay. "

"Loved every moment of our stay! House was clean, spacious and well appointed and was just like in the pictures. A very relaxing and quiet place to unwind with spectacular views that you could sit and look at for hours! No downside to staying here and I could definitely see ourselves coming back some time. Thanks for allowing us to share such a wonderful place!"

Charming Old Farmhouse, Beautifully Restored - ideal base to explore SW Ireland
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (19)
"Lovely historic farmhouse but still updated with all the modern amenities you'd want. The kitchen in particular is in excellent condition and well stocked. Appreciated that there was even breakfast options like cereals out. It is likely obvious, but should be noted it is not walkable to anything and you must have a car to get to a grocery store, restaurant, town, etc. The hosts brought us fresh baked bread, butter and jam one morning, and it is the BEST bread I've ever had in my entire life. My...

Charming Converted Barn in a stunning location on the Wild Atlantic Way
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (16)
"This cottage is an idyllic setting in the country but close to some lovely communities for shopping, history and exploring. Our host, Annette, was wonderful. She is an attentive communicator, and left us with a comfortable converted ‘pig style’ with all the modern comforts. "

Lake House B&B
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (41)
"Even before we arrived we had had a phone call from Susan regarding arrival time, how to find property, etc. Susan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure every single thing had been taken care of. The tea and homemade lemon drizzle, my husbands favourite, offered to us on arrival was such a lovely gesture. The house is in a beautiful setting and is spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for Susan and the breakfast was fantastic, she even went to...

"We stayed over the Christmas period and wow. The house was decorated beautifully and on arrival i walked into a beautifully clean and more importantly, warm, home. I met with Nora and had a fantastic chat. She is a fantastic host. The house itself is beautiful and is a credit to Bridget and her family. It is very modern but keeps its old style charm. Beautiful setting and ideal for visiting West Cork. Even with the wind and rain lashing down on us we had a great time. I wouldnt hesitate to...

Tullig Rock Country Cottage
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (8)
"I have stayed at both the cottage and main house before. Minor issue with wifi this time but that was quickly rectified. The unseasonably cold weather during the first few days of our stay made the cottage very chilly until heat was turned on but that's Irish weather. Once weather returned to seasonal norms, there was no further problem. Very comfortable for two people but would be a stretch for any more. Excellent value."
