"My family stayed recently and have already booked to return next week. The hotel must have undergone a remodel, as though it retains its old world charm it had many modern conveniences. The family room was a proper family room as opposed to other places we have stayed and the price was very reasonable. It had 3 beds, a mini fridge and an excellent shower/bath. Drumcondra is a lovely, safe neighborhood with loads of walking distance choices for food and drinks. It's a short 20 minute bus ride straight into town and on the main road to and from the airport, with onsite parking. The staff were lovely and the bar fun. It was a truly exceptional stay. Being an expat myself, USA travelers would greatly enjoy this hotel and the neighborhood."
