"Wanted convenient hotel..not in the heart of the city and not at the airport.. with restaurant to spend our last 2 days in Scotland. Room was well appointed…large rain shower. "This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight. "On a bus route. Just bit further out of town from Edinburgh Zoo. Friendly welcome at the door as we arrived. Nice clean quiet room with double bed & single bed, & en-suite with shower & bath. Nice views out over garden. Peaceful night. Very helpful hosts. Hopefully we will be back."
