"Staying here was a lovely experience. Fantastic location. Great, friendly service from all staff. Enjoyable bar food. Huge choice of drinks. Wonderful continental breakfast which included fresh fruit & exotic yoghurts, continental cold meats, cheese, cereals, choice of breads & selection of pastries. Really comfortable bed & pillows in attractive bedroom with great views from those in the front of the hotel. Only disappointment was having to pay £12.50 per day for parking. The photo was taken...

"Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely public rooms, ie bar, restaurant. My room had a great sea view. The wall paper was a little dated, but nothing to worry about. When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have a note explaining it in the bathroom, so I felt reassured to take my bath (I didn't!). Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful on the whole. The views, the walks and the convenient sporting equipment...

"We had a lovely peaceful stay Pengelly is ideally situated for the whole of Cornwall and very welcoming Ben is a treasure trove of knowledge and such a lovely intelligent man. Katherine is a very busy mother and wife and both are lovely inviting people the farmhouse is very clean the rooms are very spacious and clean nothing seems to much to ask the breakfast is superb plenty of choice.
