"First of all, this is an old and very historic hotel. Do not expect all mod-cons! That said, staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to please. Our room was large and overlooked the Corniche so was noisy until about 2am (as expected!) but compensated for by the view, the proximity to old downtown, amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. Monty’s bar very “old English” with live music after 9pm. Good food and drinks, attentive staff. But it’s smoking - and Egyptian cigarette...

"Green plaza is very safe area all day long. Nice and clean, shopping, dining, cafe all there. Just bit off of tourist areas, but i had no problem at all. "The staff were lovely. We were welcomed with a drink and sweet snack while we were waiting to check in. We arrived very early, but they accommodated us by giving us a main floor room - which was lovely, but quite noisy from traffic, until check in time when we were given a fabulous room on the 5th floor. It’s an old hotel with lots of character. The view from our balcony was spectacular. The breakfast and light dinner options were great and the meals in the cafe were very good - service was a little slow - the violinist was exceptional. I would stay here again. "
