"We had a studio apartment, which was accessed through the garden. The room was a good size. The bathroom was nice with really good shower and the small kitchenette was useful. The studio had its own small balcony. They were helpful in communicating about arrival times and leaving key when reception was unmanned; however, we had to telephone as we did not realise studio was reached through different door and wondered why our key did not open door (of apartment with same number!) "From start to finish the family associated with the property were kind, helpful and all contact with them was efficient and done in a spirit of kindness. The grounds are beautifully kept and the house is in a very peaceful location. They personally met us on arrival, took us to the house, guided us around the property and left us a very generous welcome pack. It has been an absolute pleasure to stay here and the family are the perfect hosts. You are made to feel like a friend, not just a guest....

"I liked this very clean hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. I would have iked to have had more information about things to do. The information office is only open around lunchtime and was completely closed over the holidays. The walking path I walked on was in poor condition."

"Erg leuk om in te verblijven deze lava woning. Behulpzame buurvrouw die ook incheckt. Supermarkt naast de deur. De keuken is prima, en de totale ruimte ook. Douchen lukt helaas minder met maar 15 liter warm water en een te lage waterdruk. Het bed was voor ons te oncomfortabel, en de te lage deurposten ook. We zijn dan ook lange mensen :) "
