"We went on a 2 day family trip with 2 kids. The hotel was a great stay when you have kids. Nice rooms with a sofa pullout for another bed. Cute little balcony to see part of the bay. With the convenience of 7/11 across the street for mid night snacks. The only down fall of the room was there was no microwave and not enough outlets to plug your devices in for a family of 4. Other then that will definitely stay again. "

"Recently refurbished comfortable modern motif in rooms and public areas. Professional, welcoming staff. Excellent free breakfast buffet. Spacious room. Well designed accessible bathroom with roll-in shower. However, bathroom towels were wearing thin. Easy, flat walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. I would happily stay at this hotel again. "

"Good location just a block away from Pier 39. Trader Joe's and Walgreens nearby. The F Trolley which takes you to BART is within a block. Easy for public transportation and activities. They give a small bottle of water to each person at check in; a bottle per person per day would be an even nicer gesture. We left our bags with Bell Service after checkout until late evening pickup for flight. Enjoyed our stay. "

"The front desk was top notch at check-in. Room was comfortable and clean. Love the charm of the older hotel. We could hear the loud voices of the people next door, but that is true of most places. Great value."

Overall, it’s a solid choice for those wanting a well-located hotel with standard Hilton amenities, but it might not feel as upscale as some other options in the city."

"Bathroom, fridge, heater and fridge all work well. TV channels like CNBC or Discovery Channel have good signal, although some other channels have intermittent signal. Bed is comfy. The carpeted floor in the room could be cleaner. In my opinion, the lighting can be changed in some areas to give the room/corridors a cleaner feel but I can see that some might find the darker and warmer atmosphere more charming."
