"when I first arrived I was nervous because there was a lot of damage to surrounding properties. But rooms were great and all the staff was excellent. There were two bars on the beach and sitting areas on the beach. They close by 10pm, so no issues with late music. Excellent vacation!!!"

"Great place for the family. The whole Ft Myers Beach is still going under a lot of work from the hurricanes but Pink Shell has rebounded very very well and looks amazing. Great beaches footsteps from your room and 3 Great pools. Although one of them is not for kids. Adult’s probably enjoy that. I have to give a special thank you to Ranger Rob!!! He offers many amazing activities for kids and a kayak trip for the entire family. He is a great teacher and very knowledgeable of the Florida wildlife and ecosystem. The kids had so much fun earning their Junior Ranger badges. Thank you Ranger Rob!! Also want to thank the staff at Bongos. The food was delicious and the staff was always helpful and courteous. The only negative is the distance from the airport. 30-40 minute drive and the bridge in and out of Ft Myers Beach is always slow. 10/10 though would definitely stay again. "

"OMG what can I say this place is the best the rooms were cute and island style. The staff what can I say about all the staff they were great! Approachable always willing to help you from the front desk to the housekeepers. And the amenities what sold me to come back! Kayaks, fishing poles, the marsh to go fishing bikes, the pool and a fish bait store next door and a restaurant walking distance. I've been to some hotels in Fort Myers and in Naples but this one is the best! if you love sun and fun without having to get in the car this is your destination "

"I am so beyond happy we stayed here. The elevators yes, are a bit slow, at peak times, not ideal. But the view is amazing! The rooms are spacious and the staff were all friendly! I'd stay here in a heartbeat. Walk right on to the beach, walkable to the other popular beach bars, everything you could need RIGHT THERE! Small fridge, microwave, mini stove, "pool view" still has an amazing view of the sunrise and water! Wonderful stay. "

"Wonderful to just walk out the door and onto the beach! Everything was nice: well-equipped kitchen with new appliances, washer and dryer etc. Some construction still going on, but this is the case for most places in Fort Myers Beach and it never bothered us. Great place to stay."

"We stayed on the 10th floor and probably had the best view on all of Fort Myers Beach with ocean and bayside views. The room was recently remodeled and clean. The pool area is nice and right on the bay. Some things to consider: we thought the resort was more focused on couples than young families (we brought our toddler) but everyone was friendly and welcoming. You cannot walk to Lovers Key State Park with the new bridge construction. The only place to eat close by is Flippers. If you want to stay in a quieter, more relaxing area, Lovers Key is perfect. Overall, would highly recommend. "
