"A very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff . All areas are spotless and rooms spacious and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and there is one heated pool . Very much appreciated in the winter months ! The hotel is in a convenient position with a short downward walk into Funchal and also benefits from certain areas within The Savoy Palace . Breakfasts delicious .. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely recommend. We will return ! "

"Great location, walking distance to everything. Very good breakfast buffet. Rooms are nice but we had issues with our bathtub. Our room could have used a little love considering it's a 5 star hotel. Jacuzzi and sauna room could use some love as well. The overall look of the interior is dark. Considering the low ceilings, it does not help. The entrance of the hotel is through the mall and the parking is good to have but prepare to go through a maze to get to the front desk. Just follow the...
