"Great location but a little tired in places, particularly the room. The room smelt musty upon first entry, my wife said it smelt of smoke. Bath plug was missing and there was hair on our floor and in our bathroom which was definitely not ours. I think housecleaning can do with an upgrade. Also towels were not always replaced. On the service side, staff were polite but not always helpful. As it was our first time, we asked for directions only to be given a map and told to look on that. ...

"Honestly, I thought this hotel was great. I enjoyed my room: clean, with a great shower and it had the benefit of a fridge and a balcony with sea-view. The daily room service was also appreciated. The hotel's team members were friendly and efficient. It had a decent in-house restaurant, but there was also the option of walking for no longer than 10 minutes to get to other restaurants. Good sized pool(s) with plenty of seating. "

"We had a great stay. The facilities were very good, the restaurants were all nice, in particular the a la carte in the Manor House was excellent. The pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym were always available when we want them. The gardens were lovely and the view to the city was beautiful. We would definitely recommend the hotel to others"
