"Amethyst is my all-time favorite hostel. It was my first time hostel hoping, and I wasn't sure if I would make friends. Enter Saiful. "The property was ok however one of the water heaters for the shower was not working during our stay. Affected our daily routine during the stay as everyone shared a toilet to shower and Genting is generally cold. We were compensated for this (Thank you). The trip to the resort is about 15-20mins drive, not too bad considering the price of this place and the ones in the Genting resort itself. There’s also good food nearby. "
