Lovely to get away from the crowds, get off at Gardini
Getting to the Art Biennale (or any of the other biennales) from Lido is really easy - two stops on the vaporetto and you can avoid the crowds around S Marco and Rialto.
Quiet public park slightly off the beaten track- has a cafe and children’s play area, possibly hosts other attractions later in the year, but when we were there it was a lovely quiet 5 minute break from the bustle of Venice.
