"Firstly, the welcome and hospitality which was exceptional. We lost our way to the hotel and the owner talked us through the route on the phone, even offering to come and meet us to guide us there! Secondly, the food in the restaurant was really tasty and very good value. The room was a little small but was clean and modern. No complaints!"

Hotel leer, klein Klingeln, kein Klopfen, selbst anrufen hilft nicht, Rezeption soll bis 20:00 besetzt sein. Als Taschenlampe raus und in den Innenhof, Suche nach offner Tür...Endlich. Entdecke Rezeptionistin in der Küche: "Ich war noch grad einkaufen...die Geschäfte machen ja um 20:00 zu..."Hmmm. Haus alt, Zimmer alt, zusammengewürfelt. Und was mit zunehmendem Alter ärgerlich ist: spärliche...

"Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."
