Staying one night, this was a convenient and fuss-free accommodation. Clean room with usual facilities, but it could do with a re-fresh. Would gladly stay again though.

Pretty much what you expect the room was clean the staff were friendly and efficient . The carpets weren't great quite worn especially in the hall and the shower was quite slippy maybe a non-slip mat would help.

Used as a stopover on our way to the North-east of scotland, can't really fault anything, yes it needs a bit of updating here and there, but the bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and a nice shower. The pub next door - the Red Deer - has lovely food and is highly recommeded. Would stay here again if passing.

Always stay here when visiting area.
Always a lovely stay when we stay here. Welcoming staff and cosy rooms. Basic but all you need. Any time were visiting family in the area we stay here, have done so around 8-10 times, always go home wanting to go back.

Perfectly placed for many reasons.
We stayed here for 3 days and it was a great place,very peaceful,room was big, bathroom was big, shower was 1st class,TV great,,a few mins drive to Cumbernauld retail park where they have many places to eat and shop, maccies just around the corner,not far from Glasgow & Edinburgh,sort of in the middle of them both,perfect.

Hôtel room was clean but the fittings and furnishings (carpets) are old and extremely worn. Window handles and curtain rings broken. Television worked sometimes. Terrible smell in the bathroom (drains) with no ventilation. Appreciated the access to tea and coffee with kettle in the room.
