"I stayed in house 5, room 17. So cute inside! It was wonderful and spotless when I arrived. It was modern and offered the amenities listed. The woman at the front desk was very kind and gave clear directions to my room. Although I did not eat breakfast in the morning, it looked delightful as I was checking out. The location offers many views and was easy to access. Thank you for everything"

"We loved our stay at Abba's beautiful farm. She and her family are very welcoming and friendly. The dogs, horses and sheep were adorable and the setting was peaceful. The rooster was quiet until about 10am! We really appreciated the gluten and dairy free options at breakfast and the delicious, homemade rhubarb jam. Thank you for a lovely stay! Maybe we will be back for the 100th!"

"The location and property were exceptional, as well as the ease of coming in, parking, and view. I would suggest not having motion lighting in the entryway as it was activated whenever someone needed to use the water closet, which disrupted the guests sleeping in the living room. The door had to be lifted up to lock, which took a bit of strength. There were only a sparce number of dinnerware, some were slightly damaged. "The hotel was our 7th night on the ring road tour around Iceland. The location around the Mývatn lake was breathtaking even from the Berjaya Iceland Hotel bar. This hotel seemed European in design, has a wonderfully eclectic style and a personality that suits an experienced traveller or couple. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, and each item has been selected carefully for the ease of the guest. The space and features chosen made everything a little easier, such as enough room for a big winter coat and a shelf for your snow-covered boots. They were simple things, but thought has been put into these touches and I appreciated them. The restaurant and bar were modern, with a rustic charm. We sat comfortably for hours in the lounge and watched the sunset over the lake; it was stunning. Loves this place!!! Thank you "

Hotel Kea

"Room was excellent. Staff courteous and very attentive to needs. Not sure the hotel can do anything about it due to it being Iceland but when using the water the sulfur smell was strong and the water had a sulfur taste to it. Just used bottle water. Good location"

"This is our second Foss Hotel we stayed at on this trip. We booked another Foss because the first one was so great. Thus one was even better. Again, a warm welcome and a welcome warmth after a long day on the road. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. "

"Very nice guesthouse close to the Ring Road. Super spacious room with a clean private restroom, quiet, and easy parking. Large and delicious breakfast buffet, and the host and other employees were very warm and friendly. One note -- We arrived rather late after 10pm (not planned), and we were fortunate that another couple was checking in at the same time. In general, you'd need to call a number to have the host open the reception and check you in, which isn't possible without a SIM card and/or WiFi. So if there's a chance you may check in on the later side, I'd recommend informing the property and updating them of your ETA as you get closer when you have WiFi. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!"
