"The picture advertised was not what was offered. The cleanliness was shocking, stains on duvets, towels, bed sheets and pillows - think bad and disgusting and you aren’t even close. Had 3 nights booked, left on day one. Poor health and safety with cables trailing across floors, screws in the carpet and a lighter found under a bed (I was with 4 kids, shocking). Now. The park itself is nice and the properties there independently owned and operated - some looked lovely, we just got a poor...

"The Tavistock House Hotel is a little gem within a world heritage listed historic stannary market town. We were warmly greeted by our host and escorted to a lovely decorated and well appointed room. A good choice of local eatery's is available within a short stroll. A tasteful continental breakfast was available to ready us for a day sightseeing in the town and local area. Highly recommended. "

"Lovely relaxing stay in January. Cold outside but warm and cosy inside (insulation needed around the old sash windows in bedroom though against the wind!) Very welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff went out of their way to accommodate our wishes. Our room was a good size and comfortable if a little tired looking. The hotel is in a beautiful spot with lots of good walking trails nearby. Would definitely stay here again"
