"The room was comfortable and the bathroom nice. The hallway was a bit noisy in the morning as the cleaning staff went about their business - not really able to sleep in. breakfast was really good. Front desk staff nice. Staff in the spa was not helpful or friendly - in my opinion, a phone call should not take priority over three couples standing in line. But generally, a very good place to stay."

"Hotel was very clean, modern and great sized rooms. Great selection of hot and cold foods in breakfast buffet. Only downside was the pool which could only be used by families between 2 and 3.30pm which is no good if you are out skiing. Use of pool in early mornings and up to 6pm in afternoon/evening would be better for families with young children."

"Lido Palace is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. It has wonderful views and it’s very close to town yet is a private haven. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Breakfast on the terrace is a perfect start to the day."

"Lovely hotel. Beds were a little firm but still slept ok. Very clean and lovely touches like the cleaning staff putting my child’s cuddly toys propped on the pillow. Lovely outside terrace area. "This was the only hotel we have ever stayed in that charged extra for the swimming pool 15 euro per person is a bit extreme. Get rid of the two comforters on the beds. Go with one large one. Much more comfortable "

"The hotel looked great from the outside. Inside reception was also nice but carpet on stairs a bit grubby, but dogs were allowed in the hotel so not a surprise. "This is a very dated property. The trees are over grown. The lobby is dingy and feels very out of date. The flower boxes were all unwatered and dead. The breakfast service was quite limited and focused on doughnuts. The room had out of date linens and had electrical outlets falling off the wall. Unless you are desparate, there ar probably better places to stay like the Hotel Canada on the opposite side of town. "
