"The boat is in a great and secure location. It was lovely to enjoy the peace and quiet of being on the river and watching all the birds come and go. Drinking a glass of wine on the deck was a real treat. The train station to Waterloo is only a 5 minute walk away so access to central London is easy. It was a short walk to Kew Gardens and there was a nice pub just 2 minutes from the boat. The facilities on the boat are as described on the website....not luxurious but functional. The mattresses...

"The property was definitely different. Located at Bray Marina and overlooked by a restaurant car park, it's perfect for any exhibitionists as there are no coverings over any of the portholes including the en suite!The property is a good size, but could be planned better as you are living out of bags and cases due to one bedroom having nowhere for clothes, there's not even a hook on the door.Beds were comfortable but one didn't have linen on it so we had to search to find some as we were told for...

"It was amazing to see how everything fitted in a small boat. My son was excited to see the space. It was warm and the beds were comfy. We love to see the swans visiting and rower practicing while having breakfast outdoor. "

"Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!"

"Easily the best place I have ever stayed. Lovely location, so relaxing and quiet. Host was extremely accomodating and easy to communicate with. Wish I could have stayed longer, and will be back at next available opportunity. 5+stars!"
