"Wow! What an amazing experience. We had a beautiful stay , our only regret was that we could not stay longer. We highly recommend this traditional Ryokan. Kimiko our host is a beautiful souls and made ourv stay that much more special. The food is incredible, the private ohnsen was better than expected. You will not be disappointed with a stay here. "

"Such a nice place to relax and take a moment to enjoy where you are. Food was amazing and staff made you feel at home. Was one of my favourite places to stay. Bed was a little too hard for my partner but good for me. You wear your traditional Japanese pajamas throughout the hotel which added to feeling relaxed. I would recommend private onsen, I used it so much and so glad we opted for it."

"The Fujiya is an impressive and beautiful historic hotel. We stayed with our 5 month old baby in the Forest wing. The room itself was spacious and the decor in keeping with the Classical design of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the onsen and the western breakfast (best breakfast of our trip). Would thoroughly recommend a stay here due to its history and grandeur!"
