"We booked our stay at Oxford Suites Chico through Hotels.com and were expecting a solid, comfortable visit—but CJ, the concierge, turned it into something unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, CJ made us feel like VIPs. I had called ahead for some essentials (toothbrush, toothpaste, wine opener—you know, the survival kit), and not only did CJ have everything ready, he delivered it with such enthusiasm and wit that I wondered if he had a degree in guest happiness. CJ didn’t just meet expectations—he obliterated them. Whether it was anticipating our needs or greeting us with humor and warmth after a long day, he made us feel genuinely cared for. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and the pillows were fluffier than a cloud, but it’s CJ who took this stay from a B+ to an A+++. Oxford Suites, take note: CJ deserves a Hall of Fame plaque or at least a cape! If you’re staying here, know the service is exceptional, and with CJ around, you’re in for a treat. Can’t wait to return!"

"The Diamond is a wonderful boutique hotel that has been thoughtfully restored and decorated with gorgeous antiques. The staff is friendly and helpful, many of whom are local university students. The restaurant and bar are fantastic. You are right in the middle of charming downtown and can't go wrong with this place!"
