YOUR RIVERSIDE HOME
Treat yourself to an entire private home overlooking the peaceful Potomac River and only 7 miles from downtown Harpers Ferry. Bring your watercraft and slip it into a private boat launch for a fun, lazy day of fishing, floating or boating.

This 1200 square foot home with central air conditioning and heating is newly renovated with living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, dining area and deck. Private parking is available for 2 vehicles. Wifi is available on site.

Walk in to a spacious, homey living room with a wall mounted Roku TV. The living room allows access to a long 2nd story deck featuring outdoor furniture and a stunning view of the Potomac River.

Bedroom 1 is carpeted and includes a comfy queen bed, full closet, 2 side tables with lamps and ceiling fan. This bedroom offers a lovely view of the Potomac. Bedroom 2 is carpeted and includes two twin beds, 1 table and lamp, and ceiling fan.

A Futon couch, which folds out to accommodate an additional guest, is located on the lower level. Bed linens for the Futon are available upon request at no extra charge.

The cottage has two full bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet upstairs along with towels and bathing amenities. The large downstairs bathroom includes a combination tub/shower, toilet, sink, towels and bathing amenities. Clothes washer and dryer are also located in this lower bathroom.

Guests can access the lower level of the home from the private parking area. In addition to the 2nd bathroom, the lower level includes a fully equipped kitchen with electric stove & oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Dishes, cookware and utensils are provided. The dining area includes a table and chairs that will comfortably seat 6.

Walk or drive down to the peaceful Potomac River where you can enjoy swimming, tubing, fishing and boating. Our riverside commons provide a lovely spot for lawn games, picnics, or just lazing by the river.

Lovely cozy stay
Myself and my family stayed at the riverside cottage for one night while visiting Harpers Ferry. Checkin was easy and the cottage was cozy and homely. Didn't have much time to explore the surroundings but the view of the river was lovely to wake up to! Thank you for having us

Relaxation by the River
Driving up to the property we were all struck by the beauty of the surroundings. The house was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and several comfortable areas to relax in. The balcony overlooking the river was a lovely place to soak in the beauty! Highlights of the local area for us included hiking around Antietam and enjoying mulled wine and music at a local winery.

What a lovely cabin! The neighborhood is quiet; the beds are comfortable; and there is plenty of hot water. Just minutes from Harper’s Ferry Nat’l Park and within 20 minutes of Antietam Battlefield, this is a great location - especially considering you are along the banks of the Potomac River. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient to hiking and Harpers Ferry
Great location and not far from Harpers Ferry and Harpers Ferry National Park. There are so many hiking trails and historical sites in the area. After a day of hiking we enjoyed a glass of wine on the upper porch of this cute cottage overlooking the Potomac river. The lane the cottage is on is quiet and peaceful. I would return again!

This home is in a great location for visiting all of the historic areas and excellent wineries. It has all of the comforts of home AND with an amazing view. The home is picture perfect - warm and welcoming and wonderfully decorated. We look forward to returning again.

Perfect location and very clean!
My sisters and I had the privilege of staying here for a weekend to visit and share some memories of our mother. She passed in May and was a collector of cookie cutters (3 totes worth). We sorted and took turns choosing ones that spoke to us. Taking time in between to sit on the balcony, down by the river, going in to Shepherdstown and Harper's Ferry to shop and dine. Only complain we had was the Internet was very spotty which made communicating with our families a little difficult at times. Thanks for a wonderful place to help out hearts heal.

Couldn't have asked for anything more. Everything was perfect with the cottage and the view of the Potomac as absolutely amazing! Scott was great with communication and got us checked in an hour ahead of schedule with just one simple message that morning. Cute Cottage
The cottage was very nice and clean. It was well-equipped with amenities and was a nice size - would be great for a small family. The walk to the river is down a pretty steep hill so be prepared for that. Also maybe take camp chairs if you want to sit by the river. Very quiet and peaceful setting with a nice view of the river from the balcony.

The property itself was very nice and exactly what I expected based on the pictures and listing. Way too many bugs for our liking. Multiple earwigs and ants were killed before we even made it upstairs. Had to handle a few spiders which probably wouldn't have even really hit our radar if it wasn't for all of the other bugs we had already dealt with. Did not use any dishes before pre washing because anything stored in the cabinets had tiny dead bugs/flies on them.

Unfolding oasis
This place is hidden in a tight knit neighborhood which seems crowded at the onset of driving in the drive. Within a half an hour of arriving, coming through the basement, upstairs to the back porch, you encounter a sight you won’t soon forget. Potomac River flowing just below the mountains. We became part of the community within hours and also received five star service from the hosts. If you are looking for a get away and also close to hiking, biking, fishing, and kayaking and unforgettable civil war history, look no further
