The rooms are lovely with a genuinely comfy bed, good sized bath and a decent hot shower! Very handy location wise for the shops and restaurants. The eggs Benedict at breakfast was delicious as was the Kir Royal. "

"I had a single room and, as usual, for most single travellers, it was tucked away as an afterthought. I understand that the integrity of the building needs to be maintained but there was a massive crack in the upper pane of the window in the bedroom and a gap between the sashes that let in blasts of cold air. The window in the bedroom also had a gap between sashes that I could put my hand through and it didn't seem possible to close the windows. There was also a very large crack in the bathroom sink. I know everyone is economising but one sachet of caffeinated coffee in the room - seriously. I loved the hotel and the position but wouldn't want to stay again if being a solo traveller felt like being a second. Lass citizen. The reception staff were very friendly & helpful. Thank you "
