"The lovely Magdalena (Mags) on reception was very welcoming offering a glass of champagne whilst checking in. She upgraded our room, helped with our bags and showed us round the room. The room was beautiful with tea/coffee facilities and fresh milk in the fridge. Toiletries were very nice. The bed was huge and super comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"It was a perfect stay! Our room was spacious and very comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant was excellent, as we had a quick lunch there in between activities. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were so kind and chatted with us about the area and our trip and gave recommendations when asked. We would definitely book here again if returning to the area. Thank you! "

"Second visit to the Manor House Spa. This was my first visit since they open the Spa. Its was lovely. Not to packed and lots of areas for you to choose. We didn’t book a treatment but maybe when we revisit when the second pool opens. I wouldn’t book through hotels as their packages don’t include access to the Spa Garden and that’s the best bit. I would recommend that the indoor spa should get a jacuzzi and a kettle with a longer lead to read the plug! "

The room was so quiet and the beds comfortable it was exactly what we needed from a quick stop motorway services hotel. "Tbh it wasn't that bad for the stay me and my boyfriend had. We went to alton towers when we stayed over and we didn't want to spend like £600+ on hotels inside the park. I had heard that recently this b&b was under new management the staff were great tbh. We had a chat with one of the staff that were there when we got back from alton towers on the Saturday and he was incredibly nice. We had free breakfast with our stay. The only thing i will say is that the rooms were tiny and they didn't have...

"The restaurant was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable. But we relied on their website and planned to have laundry done while we were there, but the promised laundry service did not exist. Also, it was booked as a double but there was only one chair!"

"Have stayed here before for work, property is convenient with breakfast and evening meal included in the price. Options in the restaurant for evening meal are pretty good, but it is cafeteria style. No irons available for the rooms, but there are areas with irons and boards available. Rooms are generally okay but some areas where it is getting tired or damaged."
