"We had a fab stay, there was a little queue at check in and only 2 staff on so the queue moved a little slow however i believe there was an event on the evening so the hotel was quite busy. We were offered a room close to the spa which was quite far from the main reception however perfect for us as we wanted to be in a quiet location and this was perfect. The hotel is like a maze! We encountered many people lost with many corridors and multiple lifts in different areas it is very easy to get lost in! We ate breakfast in the hotel which was buffet style, we arrived around 9am and werr seated straight away. It was average but nice. We used the spa facilities and on the evening it was quite busy and not really enough space for everyone. We had nowhere to sit and relax the pool smelt a little funny but not sure of what tbh. We left after half an hour and returned the next morning which was much quieter and cleaner. The staff also seemed much more friendly and happy to help in the morning (we didnt encounter any rude staff just the morning ataff were more upbeat and friendly) we passed cleaners along the corridors who were happy to help with directions and all seemed friendly. The christmas decorations around the hotel are stunning and really get you in the christmassy mood. Would go again and would reccomend for a little chill break. "

"Carpark not far from the hotel, hotel will stamp the ticket to get reduced price for you. Bit of a wait to book in, but as it was a busy time, to be expected. Hotel clean, staff welcoming. Room with a view of the town and football stadium. Could hear music from across the road, close the window and it is much quieter. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent and room clean. No complaints whats so ever. Would stay again"

"Lovely stay at Ramside. First time we have been here and we will be back. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, only issue was that it smelt a bit damp when we walked in but opened patio doors and aired it and was ok afterwards. Lovely clean rooms. Beds not the most comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and a double/king size bed would be better than 2 beds put together, kept falling down the middle. Next time may look to upgrade to a premier room. Restaurants are lovely and the food was amazing. Haven’t tried the Asian fusion one yet but heard good things about it. Spa is one of the best ones around. Booked in for a massage. Would highly recommend. Gym and pool area is great for relaxing. "
