"The property look like it is not maintained. The sliding pool was gross and not working. Trash cans were all ran over. The dumpsters at the end were nasty. Trash everywhere. "

"Loved the location, layout and design of property. I would have given it 5 stars, exceptfor the fact that the sofa bed mattress was covered with dog hair and filth from outside. There was also a spot under the sofa of dog barf/pee that needs to be cleaned up. Otherwise, we absolutely loved the place. The deck over river was so nice. I do think their homeowners association really needs to clean up the exterior of the building, and do a total paint job,. Why pay hoa fees if some doesn't go...

"Loved this cabin so much . Clean and beautiful. Hot tub was so relaxing. The swing was my favorite. The wildlife coming through was amazing we seen a mama deer and her baby and a buck. It is beautiful in Helen. Highly recommend 👌 "

"The only issue I experienced was due to having a large truck. The driveway was steep and hard to turn around on. A little description of that would have been helpful to prepare. "

"There is nothing more relaxing than walking into a cabin and noting how clean and well-apportioned the place is. From making our reservation to our stay to our eventual departure, the hosts made sure we were well taken care of, and that care allowed us to enjoy the Helen GA area...the shops, restaurants, sights, local trails, and other attractions. The cabin is set back from a creek, has a firepit and picnic table to enjoy, and is just a short walk to the center of town. Our stay was filled...

"Have stayed here several times. They have rooms with fireplaces and also suites, which I opted for this time, with 2 TVs and a sofa. There was even a nice view toward town. The pool is heated and there’s a small gym with a couple machines. Easy walk down to Main Street, although there a couple small restaurants nearby. The Hooch is just across the street. Staff here are very friendly and breakfast is adequate. Only 3 floors but there is an elevator. Comfy, but no frills."

"Great location. Especially if you plan to go for Oktoberfest. A few minutes away which avoids the traffic congestion. My only issue is that the room had some patches which they were never painted. But again, since I went for Oktoberfest and barely spent time in the room, it wasn't a big deal."

Red Roof Inn Helen GA - great experience overall

"The check in lady was so sweet, and the room was very nice for an aging property. Our only real issue was that the dog park area was not well kept - there was damage to part of the fence and people didn't clean up after their pups, so it wasn't safe to turn our puppy loose or play with her off leash."

"Perfect location in Helen. We didn’t have to worry about paying for parking downtown as it was a quick 3-5 min walk. Staff was 10/10 and continental breakfast was some of the best I’ve had at a hotel! Clean rooms! Will stay here again when visiting Helen. "

First and Last Time

"Hotel was in good location to restaurants, etc. Unfortunately, hotel was a little shabby & not very clean. Shower had caked on soap scum on glass. The room stunk of bodies, and the mattress was very worn. There were splatter stains on paint behind the toilet - don't even want to know - and one of the elevators did not work. Parking was very limited near the entrance. There was parking behind the hotel but you had to walk up a hill to get to an entrance. "
