"Beautiful building and really friendly staff. Our room was over the restaurant so very noisy but didn’t go on till late so didn’t really bother us. The bathroom could do with a tidy up. We couldn't check in till we arrived which was half past midnight and the staff were very understanding and checked us in cheerfully!!! "A lovely hotel wth character. Very comfortable room. Two downsides: the bar is very small and got very busy, and there was quite a wait time to order drinks at times. The other downside is the time to have breakfast.... we arrived at our prebooked time of 9.30 and on both mornings, our breakfast arrived around 10.30 so althought it was a nice breakfast, it would not suit if you are in a rush."
