"We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"We wanted a place near the National Trust, Grays House and the hotel is only a few minutes drive from there. Only a few rooms but in an idyllic setting next to the golf course. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the service excellent. "
