"So yes I would recommend Hotel du vin, with a few caveats First, the room was lovely, bed was very comfy, and the staff where amazing! Full 5 star treatment. Lovely furnishing, and overall a really nice hotel. The reason it's not 5 stars from me, the toilet handle wasn't working, you had to pump it to get it to flush and it felt like it may break when you did pump it. "Staff were efficient and friendly, first room we were in had worn dirty carpet, toilet wasn't working and wouldn't flush, we were moved with no problems straight away, second room was for someone disabled but was much cleaner, beds moved and were not very comfortable due to this, room was roasting even with windows open, however they provide a fan which helped."
