"We had stayed in this building before and loved its convenience to Carlsmith beach park. This unit is small, but charming and perfect for our short stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We even cooked a couple of meals while we were here.If you want to see the turtles and have some sheltered snorkeling at Carlsmith Beach, this is the place."

The microwave went out during our stay and they were there to fix it immediately. Also, they were so good to give recommendations and help with all our needs including last minute snorkeling gear. "Nice location with a beautiful view, just outside downtown Hilo. Parking was easy. Check-in was easy. Accessible, responsive host. The unit itself was clean and spacious, with a well-supplied kitchen. Air conditioning worked great. The condo building has offices on the lower floors, so doesn’t exactly have a vacation rental feel but would still recommend it as an excellent base for exploring the east side of the island. "

"We stayed for 4 days. Had a great time. The room had an excellent view of Hilo Bay and we spent a lot of time on the balcony. Staff were great. Room was clean. The lobby had a great vibe in the evening and the free drink coupons offered to guests was a great perk. The hotel is under some renovation but that didn’t impact our enjoyment. "
