"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Thistle and by far the best. We stayed in room 672 which is a suite and was huge, with 2 separate rooms and decent bathrooms. We ate in the bar but didn't go for the breakfast. And of course, the viewing area for the airport was fully open allowing us to spot planes, which is why we visited the hotel"

"The hotel is very cool and has a lot of heritage. Service was excellent right from the start. There was an issue with the shower at first, so we got moved to another room. The rooms are beautiful and had complimentary snacks and drinks. It was an excellent location and we got a view of the front yard and London Eye. "

Lots of hot water, clean and quiet rooms. Location tough to beat what with Tube, trains and buses galore. We love it"

"Even if this property is not a 5*, it is a very good 4* for the following reasons: clean, small rooms but has everything you need including a good hair dryer. 2 minutes walk from the British Museum, literally!! Restaurants all around or less than 7 min walk. Bus stop right in front of the hotel! Great service, they do everything they can to accommodate their clients. Good English vibe. My only concern: carpet in the room (I personally don't like it) but it was clean so no complaint. ...
