On day three of my five-day stay my wife had a medical emergency. She was in the room and I was 35 minutes away. She was in so much pain she could only text me to have me call 911.
I call 911 and they ar eon their way. I called the hotel to tell them so they could direct the paramedics and open the door. When I call, they answer and put me immediately on hold. After 5 minutes on hold, I call back. The clerk says can you hold please. I say NO, its an emergency. He says, I am sorry but I am busy.
I call back pick the sales staff option but get VM. I call back a third time and get accounting. THey said they would let housekeeping know.
When the paramedics got there, they had to wait for my wife to open the door even though she was in incredible pain (she had to have emergency gall bladder removal surgery).
The next day, I call from the hospital asking for the GM. It goes to VM. I have never heard from management, which may explain the poor training, and I don't care about the attitude of the staff.
Hugely disappointed. With two other brands down the street, I will give them my business next time I am in town.
