Location was great. Short walk on Ocean Drive to cool bars, restaurants and shopping. A classic Miami Beach vibe. The hotel itself is quite dated and in need of a refurbishment. The carpets are stained and the lobby/check-in seems random and sparse. Seemed like a card table with a laptop on it. The room is small, but reasonably clean. The lighting is confusing and inadequate. No safe. The bathroom is tiny. Walls are thin and you can certainly hear your neighbors. Staff are cheerful and bartenders friendly. But you need to ask about discounts etc that are part of the purchase. So don’t be shy.

The availability of sun loungers a block and a half up the beach and the beach towels provided for the residents was a wonderful part of our week. Because a restaurant is making use of much of the lobby, the porch and the sidewalk in front of the hotel, it is no longer possible to sit as a resident of the hotel on the hotels front porch except as a paying customer of the restaurant. the staff of the hotel we're ready at a moment's notice to offer help or to answer any question. They keep the place running wonderfully well. In the rooms, the showers are designed that they allow water onto the floor too easily. This has the potential for a slip and fall. The A/C seems to diminish, typically around 4am, and then, 30 minutes later, resume.
