"The service was super-friendly and excellent. The room was large, with a beautiful view, comfortable, and at a very good price. The decor is slightly dated, but I would return for another stay there if in the area."

"I like the convenience to the highway and getting too downtown Petosky was a breeze. Getting to other attractions were easy to get to. Only thing I see needs some updates within the room. The bathroom needs a towel rack and towel hook replaced in the room I was in."

"We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up."

"This place deserved five stars not because it was like the Ritz-Carlton, but rather because it delivered what it promised. The room was spacious and clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful; the price was reasonable; the breakfast was good; and the place was in a convenient location. If I was in that area again, or driving through it, I would certainly stay again. "
